Even if we'll measure for you on-site, knowing how it's done helps you sanity-check any quote.
Inside-mount vs outside-mount
Inside-mount sits inside the window reveal — cleaner look but requires deep enough recess (min 50mm).
Outside-mount fits to the wall above the window — better light blockage, easier on shallow reveals.
The three measurements
Width: measure top, middle and bottom — use the smallest.
Drop: measure left, centre and right — use the largest.
Recess depth: top of reveal to glass.
